When to bring in AOX Ops

  1. 01

    Before an acquisition

Is the performance story repeatable, or dependent on a few people, markets, and temporary interventions?

  2. 02

    During confirmatory diligence

What operating risks could affect the quality and durability of earnings?

  3. 03

    During the first 100 days

Where is value leaking, and which issues deserve management attention first?

  4. 04

    Before another capital request

Does the proposed investment address a verified constraint, or another assumption?

  5. 05

    When a turnaround stalls

Why are repeated initiatives not producing sustained results?

  6. 06

    Before an exit

Would operating practices and performance claims withstand a buyer’s closer inspection?

Independent Field Verification

What management reports is not always what happens in practice.

I do not rely exclusively on presentations, prepared demonstrations, or management-selected examples. With appropriate authorization and privacy safeguards, I independently select relevant workflows, records, and interview subjects to test how the business operates in ordinary conditions.

The objective is not to catch employees doing something wrong. It is to understand what they have learned to work around, whether the reported operating model is real, and what those differences may cost investors.

What investors receive

Not another report that restates what management already believes. A concise investor decision memo that distinguishes verified facts from hypotheses, quantifies financial exposure where supportable, identifies missing evidence, and sets out the implications for the next decision.

Frequently asked questions

01Is AOX Ops a dental practice consulting company?

I serve investors, acquirers, boards, and ownership groups. My review examines operational performance through the lens of investment risk, decision quality, and enterprise value rather than providing routine practice management coaching.

02Do you only work with underperforming portfolios?

No. A strong portfolio may still have concentration risk, fragile operating dependencies, or growth assumptions worth testing before an acquisition or expansion.

03Can you assess whether the existing management team is diagnosing the right issue?

That is a core part of my approach. I review the assumptions behind proposed fixes and compare them with evidence from the operating system.

04What types of dental businesses do you focus on?

My perspective is grounded in multi-location dental operations and implant/full-arch business models. Engagement fit depends on the business, its complexity, and the investment question.

05Will you replace the management team or other advisers?

No. I provide an independent perspective to inform investor decisions and complement appropriate financial, legal, clinical, and transaction advisers.

06Is the initial conversation confidential?

Initial outreach is handled discreetly. I can discuss appropriate confidentiality arrangements before the exchange of sensitive business information.
